Our Story & History....

Danse Sous les Étoiles — “Dance Under the Stars” — was born from a love of movement, storytelling, music, and meaningful human connection.

Founded by Vermont choreographer and instructor Taryn Noelle, Danse Sous les Étoiles offers personalized Wedding Dance Instruction designed to help couples and families feel confident, joyful, and beautifully connected on the dance floor during life’s most cherished celebrations.

Following professional training in New York City after graduating from Circle in the Square Theatre School in Manhattan, Taryn returned to New England with a passion for combining artistic excellence with warmth, encouragement, and accessibility. For more than 20 years, she has taught and choreographed for dancers and performers of all ages and experience levels throughout Vermont and beyond.

What began through choreography, theatre, music, and community arts gradually evolved into a love of helping couples prepare for one of the most memorable moments of their wedding day — their first dance together.

At Danse Sous les Étoiles, every lesson is thoughtfully tailored to the unique personalities, comfort levels, and visions of each couple. Whether creating a graceful First Dance, helping parents feel more comfortable on the dance floor, or bringing joyful energy to a wedding party celebration, the goal is always the same: to create an experience that feels relaxed, meaningful, and genuinely memorable.

Rooted in the beauty of Vermont and inspired by the romance of dancing beneath a moonlit night sky, Danse Sous les Étoiles invites couples to slow down, connect, laugh together, and create moments they will treasure for years to come.
